The goal of this website is to give support to people who are facing problems in their relationship related to cheating, abuse and narcissism. I am living in Europe and English is not my native language, I wish you will excuse me if I make some grammatical errors. I have a background in neuroscience and behavioral sciences and I am currently doing brain research related to these topics in university in my home country. Do you remember how exciting place the world was when you were a child? Do you remember how each day, week and year seemed longer and more colorful, how small things were big, how you were able to enjoy the simplest things in life, imaginary games while walking in the forest, playing with friends, birthdays, Christmases etc. How the movies you saw remained in your memories for years to come, whereas nowadays you may no longer remember how a particular movie you saw few years ago ended..

The brain is an amazing device. The brain has an ability to renew itself if one keeps stimulating the neuronal networks on a regular basis. New memories require new connections between the neurons. The ability of the neuronal networks to form these new connections has been shown to improve tremendously if an animal lives in a stimulating environment.

We humans are creatures among other creatures on this Earth and same rules apply to us. If one feels depressed the worse thing one can do in that situation is to stay at home and do nothing. Doing nothing deteriorates the neuronal networks in the brain even if one is not depressed. This process of deterioration will accelerate if the brain is burdened by the physiological effects of the depression.
